Nothing worth doing is ever easy

After a month I have to constantly remind myself that GOD doesn't put things on us that we can not handle. When we think that we can't handle it, that is when the strength shows up and HE shows us we had that strength within us the whole time.

It all feels so surreal

So BIG and I mean GINORMOUS changes at work!! I never expected to get a promotion so soon. but going from XO to Skipper is what I always wanted.. The hardest part was and still will be trying to come up with a new XO but for now i thihk i will have the COB assist me as best he can. The men respect him and i hope to earn that respect as well. for anyone that thinks they deserve respect is the wrong person for the position. So now it's time for me to NUT UP AND SHUT UP. I asked for it and i got and by the grace of GOD and all that he can do for me I shall endeavor to do both HE  my family and my Supeiors justice in the roll they have placed me in. Lord God may i always find fair winds and following seas in this journey you have allowed me to be put upon may i do you and those who serve you the justice of the title you have so graciously allowed me to partake. May my errors be small but greatly learned from may successes be humbly presented .Lord grant me the knowledge to make wise decisions and the humility to know that they come from you.AMEN! 

Sometimes it just feels like....

Do you ever get the feeling of what the hell am I doing any of this for?  Here lately that is all I seem to be feeling. You always hear people say things like" the means justify the end". What end am I working for? What end does anyone work for? Are we not supposed to have a goal to acheive? I seem to have lost sight of mine! Yeah yeah I know you are supposed to work for your family well I do but that isn't ALL that I want to be working for. You are supposed to be working for retirement. That's all well and fine but you know what stinks at the moment is the fact that if I look at the time I have when I am not at work I am so bored and restless that I look forward to going back to work were I can at least pretend that I have a purpose. I know this is just alot of poor pitiful me bullshit but I just want to know that I am attaining a goal. That just like anyone else that I have a purpose other than making someone else rich!
Sometimes it just feels like WHAT IS THE FUCKING USE! Why not just become one of the masses that beg on the corner or from the government!  I know that this is completely opposite of the norm for me I have always been the Nut up or Shut up person but I guess even those personalities get down from time to time and just a few people get to see that while everyone else gets the facade.
So I guess I need to take my own advice. It's time for me to Nut up and Shut up

Christmas time is here

You know i can remember as a kid this time of year was the best!!! but as I got older it became less than what it was for me in that time of youth. I want so much to be happier this time of year but it doesn't happen. My hope this year is that I can be a little more festive for the kiddos sake and maybe it will help in the future. Who knows  Oh i know the one person this season is actually about Christ!! yea yea i know no one like to hear about that how it has all turned to a retail holiday not one that actually celebrates the Lord and Savior.

Turkey Day with the Fam

I had a great time with the Fam on turkey day. Great food Good times thinking about loved ones, both here and gone and making sure the young ones know what Thanksgiving is all about not just the getting together to eat and have family time but the reason we do it. For those that don't remember 1st and 2nd grade stories about the pilgrims and how they left for religious freedom. It just breaks down to the fact we should remember those that still keep this country safe and allow us to be thankful for our FREEDOM.

Meeting With Mickey

So there was a meeting with Mickey Mouse this past week. Seems someone can't keep their opinions and ideals to themselves or at least they don't know when NOT to express themselves! So Mickey killed one of his cast members and that became a warning to Donald and the rest of the magic kingdom residents. So I guess we all need to remember that even in the kingdom of mouse the exes will show up in your eyes even if you think you are good friends with Walt. And trying to get back at Alice doesnt help your situation either.
To late to tell Goofy that Alice didn't really do everything that was printed or told to do in wonderland and then again Queen did say off with his head.

So I guess the moral is " Just because you think Alice looks like a slut who may like the eat me and drink me. you have to becareful cause she is really just Kaa from the jungle trying to get you before Shere Khan does. and at either end you will be devoured. So it's just best to stay with Baloo and Look for the Bare Necessities."

Suck it up

You know what the fuck is up with people??? I guess I was just raised differently. I mean I know some people do whatever job they have to so as to pay the bills but I mean those who actually are in a SKILLED labor position have no right to piss and moan about the job they do!! You have agreed to do a job your ego be damned!! if you are asked to clean the toilets then do it with a smile and know that you still get paid the same and be glad you have a job there are those that do not and wish they did and would gladly take yours if you don't want it. So NUT UP OR SHUT UP and Suck it up and be a grownup for a change!
